‘Melon Music Awards ’2011 ‘has announced that Super Junior Leeteuk, actress Park Shin Hye, and Doojoon B2ST will be host to this year’s event.
All three are chosen because of their influence in spreading Hallyu wave. Super Junior has received a lot of love in Europe and Asia, while B2ST will begin their concert tour in Southeast Asia in December. Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye recently played to a Taiwanese drama called ‘Whirlwind District Office 1′.
A representative of Melon Music Awards ’2011 ‘stated, “Rather than in previous years, Melon Music Awards 2011 will focus on a musical and professional awards show. We plan to showcase a lot of impressive stage performances. We look forward to awards and as host their own global interests through the Hallyu wave. ”
Melon Music Awards ’2011 ‘will be broadcast on 24 November at 7pm. Excerpts from the award will also be released on the YouTube channel Melon.
