Hee: It has been long time sinced listing to SJ’s Miracle. After hearing it, it made me have mixed fellings. Even though it is a happy song, but it reminded me of many past memories. It’s really seemed like just yesterday, we were flming a music video during winter, rushing off to flim ‘Rainbow Romance’, and after that going to host YS. And the process repeated, I remember once the flming of ‘Rainbow Romance’ was flimed in a indoor swimming pool. Actually I am a person who gives up easily, but I was lucky and I’ve met many people who allowed me to have my way. Today’s topic would be “Things I remember about YS”. Rainbow’s Jisook showed her pitiful-ness towards ‘Youngstreet’ last broadcast.

On the 23rd, Jisook wrote on twitter ‘Heechul oppa’s ‘Youngstreet’ will say bye after 1 year and 3 months. It was a program which was like a family to me so I felt bad about it. Top male idol groups, TVXQ, 2PM, Super Junior, along with SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong and many others came together to attend a launching event.
On a rainy afternoon on June 24th at ‘Banyan Tree Club and Spa‘ in Seoul, these top artists gathered for the ‘UAM (United Asia Management) Launching Party’.
UAM is a newly formed collaboration management agency of the top Asian entertainment companies, composed of KeyEast, AMENT, StarJ Entertainment, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment.
Reaching further than the Hallyu movement, UAM was founded together by the 6 agencies, setting base on Asia as a whole. UAM plans to set their core focuses on online mediums, managing networking, and promoting through movies, dramas, and video footage production, as well as acting as a global agency for the artists in all 6 companies.

Lee Hyori personally picked TEEN TOP to pose with her for ‘Arena Homme

On June 22nd, T.O.P. Media revealed that idol group TEEN TOP were specially chosen by Lee Hyori to participate in a fashion photoshoot with her for “Arena Homme” magazine.
Representatives revealed, “The photoshoot concept was to pair up Lee Hyori with a younger idol, and Lee Hyori personally chose TEEN TOP. The original plan was to go for an innocent image with the boys being topless, but Lee Hyori took notice of TEEN TOP’s cuter aspects and suggested something fun instead.”

M&D to hold UCC Contest The First Space big star Kim Heechul Competition

A project group M&D which is composed of Super Junior's Kim Heechul and Trax's Kim Jungmo will hold a UCC contest.

To celebrate the release of their first digital single "What are you Looking at" (Close Ur Mouth), M&D will hold a UCC music video contest titled "The First Space big star Kim Heechul Competition" from June 24 to July 7. M&D will look for a UCC video that rivals the music video of "What are you Looking at" which was directed by Kim Heechul. They are looking forward to participation from many netizens and music fans who have various talents and unique ideas.

A person who wants to participate in the contest will have to upload a self-made music video of  "What are you Looking at" on Youtube. After uploading the video, an e-mail must be sent at event@smtown.com containng information about the participant and the video URL. People can watch all of the entry videos on SM Town's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/smtown).

The winners will be announced on July 6 on the official website of SM and SM Town's Facebook page. The videos will be judged by the two members of M&D.  Kim Heechul will reveal his judging standard on his Twitter account.

Also, the winner will be given a pair of slippers which have drawings by Kim Heechul and other presents will be given as well. The winning video will be shown on SM Town's (www.youtube.com/smtown) Youtube channel.

Super Junior reflects on their popularity in an interview after SMTOWN PARIS

“We always prepare something to say to the fans when we go overseas for concerts. This time we prepared and said, in French, ‘we saw photos of you guys protesting for a concert. You guys are even more beautiful in person’. I believe our friendliness in communicating with our fans is our strength” – Super Junior’s Leeteuk.

Super Junior was originally founded on the concept of ‘the gateway to Asian super stardom’, but now their fame has grown beyond to just Asia. Spreading faster day by day, their popularity is reaching over to Europe and South America, leading the ‘New Hallyu Wave’.
After a successful concert in Paris, only Leeteuk and Eunhyuk were able to meet for an interview. There’s a total of 10 members, but because of their individual busy conflicting schedules, these days the only times all 10 of them can gather together is basically for overseas concerts. The two members were busy with working for the next album, as well.
About their concert in France, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk stated, “We were able to gain popularity in Asia with our activity in Asia, but it felt like a party of our own. But the concert in France was totally different. We definitely feel motivated”. He added, “I feel pride in that we were able to export our culture into a country that’s already strong in culture”.
A new momentum for ‘world stage’ appeared for Super Junior. Their step into the world market changed idol groups’ struggle for popularity which regularly lasts for 5 years. As they pass their 6-year mark, some appraise that they have opened new horizons in the Hallyu wave, as well as for idols, through their concert in France.

“They say the fun in ice cream is the wide variety. Because we have a wide variety of members, we also have a wide fan-base. One that’s good at singing, one that’s good looking, one with good humor–our team has many different colors to show”.
Leeteuk explained that Super Junior is not simply just an idol group, but a gathering of many cultures. They create a synergy effect in a sense that what one member lacks, another member can fill the gap.
Eunhyuk picked friendliness as Super Junior’s greatest strength. Idols were mysterious beings that could only be seen on stage in the past, but idols nowadays must actively appear on show programs and work endlessly to become close to their fans. He explained that this is one of the reasons they try to show as much of themselves as they can on TV.

M&D to perform their first stage at Mnet’s “20’s Choice

M&D, SM Entertainment’s newest project unit featuring Super Junior’s Kim Heechul and Trax’s Kim Junmo, have confirmed that they’ll be performing at Mnet’s summer awards ceremony, “20’s Choice“!
Producers revealed, “Because M&D will be performing for the first time through ’20’s Choice’, we’re paying special attention to their stage. f(x) is also performing at the ceremony for the first time, so we’re preparing the best stage possible to bring out their charms.”

The ceremony is widely known for accurately representing the youth culture, and it features a ton of things to enjoy and watch like the blue carpet event, outdoor pool scenery, and sexy summer dress codes. Fans can definitely expect something extraordinary for M&D and f(x)’s first “20’s Choice” outing.

110603 Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun’s pottery works deemed as ugly 

Super Junior-M’s members Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Sungmin, Henry, Ryeowook and Zhoumi appeared on NTV Entertainment’s [Golden Stage] and learned about Taiwan’s traditional crafts. Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk challenged each other on making the tallest work using spinning wheel. The two molded weird-shaped works seperately, causing the MC Patty Hou to laugh non-stop until she had to squat down. Even fans who were always defending those two couldn’t help but say that the works are ugly.
Kyuhyun has the talent to pull the pottery clay higher step by step, but Eunhyuk just remained at the original position, showing no progression. Eunhyuk used both of his hands out of panic, disregarding his speed on stepping the spinning wheel and obstinately pulling the clay up. In the end, the clay broke up due to excessive force! Judge Liang He Qun who checked strictly, requested both Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun to try by leaving some spaces between the spinning wheel, and as long as the works won’t break they could pass the challenge.
